December 10. Today is my parents' anniversary! 28th and still going strong! :) Went to watch Arthur Xmas and bought an Order of the Phoenix shirt! Love my mom so much for doing that for me! :) Also, apparently I won the Ad Create Raffle which i bought two tickets from this Tuesday! Haha swerte! Kahit 500 pesos lang rin yun! Haha! :)

Was part of a ritual today, heard mass at PCJ where the priest was ordained just this morning. It was such a beautiful display of old traditions that it was hard not to be amazed. Especially since the priest that was just ordained is the same age as my sister.

Had dinner with the Lojos because of Tita Didi's arrival! Such a fun night with my cousins and we watched Azkals game against LA Galaxy! :)

My cousin lent me one of his lenses! I love it and I acted like a totally dumb head earlier!

That was such an intense game that we weren't even sure that Pacquiao would have won. He was lucky he did. I mean he wasn't showing his game on that fight.

What really strikes me is that how we all went for the radio and when the announcer said still we were all cheering. (Pacquiao was defending his title.)

RIP Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs was pretty much my day today.

I remembered the things Sir Yonzon said about him, especially since that professor of mine idolizes Steve Jobs the most.

His death was a pretty huge shock. And to think I used my Ipod today on my way to school which I hardly do...kind of like a tribute to him.

I'll Always Remember

This is a personal post.

Ten years ago today, (August 26, 2011), I lost my brother to cancer. I was very young at the time it happened, but I can still remember that day.

No one really told me that he died. When my sister was supposed to, I knew it was hard for her to say those words. I just told her, "I know." I remembered she cried so hard and I just stood there.

It's been ten years. Things are very different. I'm in college and my sister's getting married in less than a month. My mind wonders what would it have been like if my brother was still alive.
But most of all, that experienced brought me a realization about how hard it is to stay strong in the face on cancer. My brother sometimes would tell me that he couldn't take it anymore and he just wanted for it to stop. But after realizing what he said, he would take it back and say that he needed to stay strong because he knew that he could beat cancer. He would not let it eat his whole life.

I remember he even went to a school dance even with his condition. He never let his life be defined but his cancer but by who he was, the athlete, the joker, the usual gamer/teenager.

A decade ago, I lost my brother to cancer. I pray for all those people who are fighting it. Keep strong and remember that you're not alone in your endeavor!

Finally watched FRIGHT NIGHT! Today of all days!

I am so happy! Haha! And yeah, David Tennant kicked ass in the film! He was brilliant! :)

Today is the 10th anniversary of my older brother's death. It's been ten years that I have been sleeping in his room and wrecking it. And I miss having an older brother around.

Commuted in the rain...

Was really thinking about going to school earlier and DLSU actually did suspend our class at around 2:40 and since my meetings were cancelled they were ok...

I actually started writing my first book of the Seer series...it's very interesting for me and currently it's following Remus when it should be following my character and it will I guess in the future.

I didn't go to school today. I only had one subject and it was 8 in the morning so I'd opted not to go. Been lazy and slept and did absolutely no progress in any of my requirements this week...and I should do some stuff!

Oh well! Been editing Harry Potter again!

Harry Potter changed my life.

Many people have done this. Many have written how their life is somehow different now that the final movie of Harry Potter is being shown all throughout the world. Many have expressed their heart felt emotions about the series. Potterheads have united in making sure how to end Harry Potter with a bang.

But like J.K. Rowling said in the London premiere, “Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home.”

Harry Potter did more than introduce me to the world that is Harry Potter. Sure, it gave me such a wondrous place to be in ever since I read the books. I wan introduced to Hogwarts, to Hogsmeade, to the Burrow, to Diagon Alley and to other destinations imaginable.

But in my case, the Harry Potter series gave me something even bigger. It introduced me to the world of books.

I’ll admit, before reading Harry Potter and the Philosopher/ Sorcerer’s Stone I had never read a book. I mean a fictional book full of words and not just with pictures. Before Harry Potter, I was all TV and sports. Before Harry Potter, I was always bored.

I would not be who I am if it weren’t for Harry Potter. I would not be someone who visits a book store and stay for hours just to decide on which books to buy that is within my budget. My room wouldn’t be a mini-library if it weren’t for Harry Potter. 

Harry Potter gave us more than Hogwarts and Harry and wands. Harry Potter gave us magic. Magic in a sense of traveling to different worlds with just one flick of a page. Harry Potter gave us the magic of our own imagination to soar.

I am sad that Harry Potter has shown it’s last film. But we can always go back to them. We can always find out for the first time that Harry is a wizard. We can always go back to that moment when we first met Ron and Hermione. We can always go back to that every sentence we all love to read and read and read all over again…

Harry Potter may feel like it is ending but the story is forever. What it has imparted in every single person that has read it’s words will be forever. Harry Potter gave us the love for reading and that is magic in itself.

Thank you Harry for changing my life. Thank you J. K. Rowling for introducing me to your world. And thank you for being a fellow Potterhead and as I would quote J. K. Rowling “For sticking with Harry until the very end.”

It is the end of an era but it is also the beginning of a legend. Harry Potter will live on in the memory of all those who journeyed with him through the pages of 7 books and through the scenes of 8 movies.

Harry Potter will be a part of our lives forever.

Two Harry Potter posts this evening...

Yesterday was a busy day but thanks to my batchmates I had a time of my life at the evening! We watched Harry Potter at MOA and I was seated besides my two best friends and it was great being able to watch it with them. With all of them.

My day was very interesting yesterday because of the things of TLS that I had expereinced. Like my first interview was with the president of DLSU and all sorts of things happened. Like there was an alarm in the building and we had to evacuate, then it started to rain when we resumed our interview outside then we had to look for a quite office area to continue. Juan said it was still fun because like our TLS line, "Be there when it happens."

The Cinemalaya movie was alright and it showed me something about what to expect in the near future.

Now the next blog is a Harry Potter one...it maybe the end of an era but it is the beginning of a legend.

Been a busy couple of days

We watched a movie last Friday and arrived yesterday morning already...

Yes, I watched Transformers : The Dark of the Moon in 3D and I did actually get bored but a lot of people still think it was nice. X-Men was pretty cool but this one? Well I just loved the screen time of Optimus Prime.

Yesterday, went to Tagaytay and heard mass then ate dinner at Sta. Rosa with the family. Bought a pair of Navy Blue Tennis Shoes from Forever 21 which was on sale! :)

Forgot to write and it just stroke 12 actually so I re-worded the essay because it is already Sunday...

People really take advantage of a lot of things...

If any of you reading this is from De La Salle University then you will know what I am talking about...

Right now I am very pissed at something/someone/some people. I know maybe I am judging them/it but I am feeling I am in the right...

It's just how they/it took advantage of certain current events that they want to boost their popularity. From my point of view, you aren't helping anyone at all and you're certainly making yourself a target of bad reps from those above.

Do yourself a favor and just don't act like you're too important when the people are what's truly important. Everyone is doing something for everyone else. And maybe the reason why the people you are fighting are taking their time is because they have a lot to loose.

Do yourself a favor and quit being such an ass about things. You're not making yourself look good, you aren't making your rival look any less and you are certainly not helping the people.

I am neither for you or against you but geez, enough is enough already. What are you the public's voice. The people have voiced out their concern already and they don't need you riding on it, showing off like you are some sort of hero.

Just stop it. You're not helping at all.

It rained like someone was watering the garden and it never stopped...

Did finish the article for Mojah and is 45% done with TREDFOR which is still an accomplishment somehow...

Well the last one really made my day exciting and even if my Potter notebooks were a little soaked and Goblet of Fire as well, I am still happy today! Haha!

June 16 was the Opening for the year long celebration of DLSU for its Centennial Year! It was just the best day ever!

Like my mom said, I am so blessed to have been part of such a historical event in my school's history! No owrds can really describe that day.

I was already very tired during the 15th because of manning the booth and a lot of things being done like rehearsing for the Green Mile! The fireworks were absolutely fantastic and like Gary V. and Randy Santiago puts it, the best way to have ended the night was singing our School Hymn!

Last June 15, I met the US Ambassador to the Philippines. And he was absolutely brilliant! Haha! June 14 wasn't particularly interesting, just a tiresome day with Sir showing to class even if he was beaten up pretty bad.

Bought a Harry Potter shirt that says Keep Calm and Trust Snape, two Harry Potter shaped glasses one plain and one sun-proof, two Centennial Pins, one Centennial Key-chain, a Jersey Bag (that I haven't gotten yet), and Tita Chey bought me a DLSU shirt.

I've been downloading some of the DLSU songs that I have heard because they are absolutely brilliant!

I didn't really updated because of a lot of things but then again those are really just excuses for me being lazy...

I go without Blogger for maybe a week and it changes so much on me...

The Illocos trip was very fun and I had such a blast spending time with my family. I have also started school already and I'm not alone in any of my classes which I am very much relieved to be...though some of my teachers look scary but I really still have a weird feeling about this term which I wish would just disappear. Violin classes are still continuing with my hopes still being diminished...

It's been raining a lot ever since we got back from Illocos, though before the trip it rained quite hard.

My grandfather knows about the wedding already. Well the right term would be FINALLY! Haha, he took it rather well.

Getting addicted to BONES now...maybe because I suddenly realized who Lance Sweets really is and how much I love his character and that he's a Psychology major! :)

Spent yesterday with my college friends because of a debut of a blockmate and today spent it with Veritas friends because of an Alumni meeting which was fun.

Promise to write consistently again!

It was my first official day as the Review Assistant and I worked for roughly 9 hours.

And on Friday the 13th of all days!! That is just too much of a coincidence.

It was my payday yesterday and 1/3 of it was used already for paying somethings...currently reading my Violin assignments...why can't I do it properly! I've been practicing that a lot!

Am I pushing myself too hard or am I not just good...I will practice till my hands hurt!

Will be in Forever 21 tomorrow...will buy stuff for this week's vacation.

Cholo's last day at AHEAD was very fun yesterday. The lecturer was a young one, recently graduated and was from DLSU. We all walked together to the MRT station, smoking.

Serj and Sophia were sleepy yesterday and Cholo and I were pretty much hyper. Telling stories with Kuya Michael and Tita Ruby. And of course, got a scare when Kuya Toby still wasn't there with our salaries! Haha! But I knew he would eventually and ask Tita Ruby to go down to BPI.

Went to Tagaytay today and pretty much spent the entire day at Sta. Rosa with my mother's side of the family. Met the performers for my grandparent's anniversary celebration. Apparently these three men were very popular back in the day and they were pretty amusing to watch.

Re-watching X-Men evolution....ah childhood memories! First re-watched Yu Yu Hakusho and now this...can't believe how long ago it feels but also how it was just like yesterday...

Practice violin today and pretty much followed my routine of the day...

Woke up, turned on the computer, practiced violin, ate lunch, watch TV, took a nap, bathed, computer, dinner, sleep.

Oncoming Storm

Well, yes, I do know it is a reference to Dr. Who but the storm earlier, (even if the Weather Authority here in the Philippines swears that the heavy rains earlier weren't caused by the low pressure area in the Philippine Area of Responsibility) was pretty frightening. Had to resolve to a Mother's Day dinner by pizza delivery.

In other news, not so much of a shocker that Manny Pacquiao won his fight against Mosley earlier today. Again, no surprise. But apparently he did have a hard time with this fight...maybe he'd think about retiring already.

Heavy breakfast, again due to Mother's Day. Pretty much spent the entire day in front of the laptop because of the heavy rains...and to think it is the beginning of May wherein usually scorching temperatures plague the Philippines, not heavy rains that causes everywhere to flood.

Haven't practiced the violin at all, have to perfect all of the variations by Tuesday...kind of scared already but I can do this! Will wake up very early on Tuesday just to do it!

Here in Mimosa, Clark, Pampanga...and we are currently having dinner here in one of the three villas that we have rented.

Whole family is here and everyone is busy either eating or talking!

Hectic Day

Man, I thought I wasn't going to be able to accomplish anything today but my dad made it!

Started with my Violin classes earlier today, because as it turns out the only available sessions were Tuesdays and Thursday at 2 to 3 pm and since today is a Tuesday...

So nervous, but my teacher is nice and super kulet! Haha! Got the basics a little and will continue with it on Thursday.

Tomorrow again, work. And it's my Dad's last day of vacation! No!!

Not so Sunday routine

Instead of Quezon City, we went to Pasig to celebrate my cousin's college graduation!

Can't believe we are all getting older and again, it makes me worry about the future again. Sometimes living in the realm of fantasy is so much more easy...but hey I can't dwell on that!

Pretty much spent the most of the day at Pasig will be Father side...and played with my nieces and nephew who are so adorable!

Heard mass at Rockwell and not is still in front of the computer. Watched some Hamlet and read fanfictions as per usual.

Tomorrow is work again and well I hope the kid isn't a terror as what I am imagining to be!

A not so gloomy Black Saturday

Usually one should not be such in a good mood during Black Saturday because as per tradition the Lord has not yet risen...but since we did deviate from our usual weekend routine and went to QC earlier it was such a fun Saturday with all my aunts and my lovable cousin Luisa.

That was pretty much my day...I mean we did go to QC and we got dad's fixed guitar and ate lunch and afternoon snack there. We also went to the interactive stations of the cross at Bonifacio High Street which was very creative.

Casanova download is finished and waiting for Hamlet to finish...hope it's the right one! Haha, can't preview it kasi!

Oh well...the book that I bought is pretty interesting...loving it!

Dr. Who is trending because of its premiere today! Haha, even if it is trending because it is promoted, I don't care! It is still trending!

I will not be able to write later this evening on the account of being in the province from lunch till later this evening for a traditional procession.

And usually we stay there for a very long time...not that I complain or anything...it is nice to be around family for a change...

Nothing much has happened between my last post...well of course nothing much because that wasn't too long ago...I did have a dream but now I can't remember what it was all about...

I think it was about Dr. Who but I'm not entirely sure of it! Haha! Oh well!

As per usual, watched David Tennant videos again...new addiction as per last month's Ewan Mcgregor thing...but at least this time more characters...I mean Barty and the Doctor! Haha! Not to mention he got me searching Hamlet and that British scientist...haha!Again!

TIME OF MY LIFE AGAIN! Thea's Birthday

Went to the beach with some of my high school friends this weekend.

Drank, smoke, did not sleep at all. Pulled an all nighter and everything was fun!

Being the only sane one was a very nice thing to be doing. And of course the not sleeping bit added to it. Which is why I might be sleeping early tonight.

Writing early...

Alright I am writing early as to not be rushed later and just create a two sentence blog entry.

I've been in school for most of the day already. Been here since around 7 in the morning and I have accomplished absolutely nothing!

I've changed my mind to create a video for the Life Story thing for Developmental Psychology and will now do a small video thing, a small paper thing, and a small scrap book thing. My plan is to take the early childhood in the video and the start of my life. The teenage years would be the scrapbook, coming from the pictures I have stocked and the paper would be the future aspirations.

Wow, why did I even detailed my project here...maybe it will serve as my reminder. I have to do it by Thrusday, that means, picking the pictures and having them developed by Tuesday or Wednesday morning...by I am thinking of just printing them on paper...oh well.

Must pick pictures by tomorrow.

Task Worthy Day

I forced myself to get up at 8 earlier today.

I had a lot of things to do and I'm proud that I've accomplished most of them. Some of them need revisions but at least I've done most of them and I am happy with it!

Got the blood test done already because tomorrow I have a check-up. I foresee this weekend is a busy one...a very busy one. I can feel it already.

I guess I should finish up the report for Monday...I will eventually. Right now, I'm looking for inspiration for the new chronicles...not that I have a lot it already, I just need more.

This post won't be as long as yesterday because yesterday was a special occasion.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Wierdo's Journal!

I'm writing early.

I think that is an obvious thing.

One thing, yesterday i actually chose not to write because I was too busy studying and in the end it looks like I even failed the exam I was supposedly studying for...that's how bad my day is...and now I'm waiting for a talk to go to so I can get incentives for the subject.

But enough about that. I mean today is supposedly a glorious occasion. Wierdo's Journal has been up for 3 years now! And that is something I am proud off.

I never really did picture myself having a blog that I am the only one that benefits from and it's like someone actually reads this. I mean, I started this for one purpose alone and it is for me to vent actually. I created this journal for me to have a way to look back at things worth remembering and to remember all the mistakes I've done.

I know people don't need to write it down to do it. But like I've made it clear to everyone, I'm weird. (Yes, I know how to correctly spell the word.)

I love to write. I currently have three finished stories that have more than 5 chapters and have a lot of pages and 10 stories again with more than 5 chapters that have yet to be finished. Those are original. The list of fanfictions, well that's an even longer list. I think I've justified how I love writing stories already.

The things is...writing is not a task or a job or work for me. It's my hobby. And now that I have a blog that's 3 years old, I think it's time to really write some sensible and real entries that are really worth reading and to be posted on the net.

After 3 years, I finally get that! :)

Movie Night

Took my vacation way to seriously and forgot to post yesterday...

Feb. 25. No classes due to the 25th People Power Anniversary which students do not really care about. Declare a holiday for those who actually experienced it and not to kids who don't give a damn about it because it is not part of their history!

Watched 'Unknown' with my parents tonight and I clearly judged it before hand...in the end I was wrong. My mom picked a great movie and I actually did like the plot however impossible it may sound and all that. Liam Neeson was superb but I still can't get him as Qui-Gon or as Hannibal Smith or as Aslan as the protagonist in the movie.

Over all it was great.

Fun day but like any other day it was a fast one.

Twitter isn't cooperating at all...oh well...just update it tomorrow...

A DLSU Biology Faculty passed away this morning...I was never his student but from what I am hearing from everyone he was a great professor and he was so young.

My 470th post is dedicated to him and to all the hardwork he gave in ensuring that his students learned and loved the subject of Biology. He will be missed by all Lasallians.

Made sword like whatever from old umbrellas...kinda went like a carpenter today...I mean, screwdrivers and pliers and hammer and a cutter... :)

Proud of what I accomplished though...two of them really look like my ideal lightsabers, one black and the other white (well silver in this case) and the other one from a long umbrella :)

The first two came from a fold-able umbrella so you can retract them! Yes! Like real lightsabers and just pull on them and they expand lengthwise! Achievement! :)

I cleaned my room! Thoroughly this time! I think I had about 10 pounds of trash that I threw out today...

Now I can see the floor!

Started downloading Star Wars comics. And they are just epic! So cool! I love them! But they are just so many I can't stop! Obsession once more!

All ones! Awesome! I wished I had posted this at 1:11 am today...oh well!

Today was pretty much a boring day for me, I mean nothing much happened. Went to Alabang but couldn't buy anything and worse is I have classes on Wednesday already.

I am so not ready for school yet...

Oh well, can't do anything about it!
