Life is something...

My friend's mom passed away this morning due to cancer.

Ironically it is also one of my friend's birthday...

You know, I'm feeling a little guilty here. I mean, I gave my friend hope that her mom would not die before her 18th birthday or before she gets married or before she graduates college...I mean all those things. Every time Tita Mayet got sick, I always told her that nothing bad was going to happen.

Was I wrong?

I mean I was so young when everything that happened to my brother took place. (My brother passed away 9 years ago due to bone cancer.) Should I not have given my friend hope that her mom was going to live a long life with them?

I just feel a little....

I have to go, I'm going to the wake with my parents and and friends.
